Download guide
From a Pin link to a saved file.
Start with the correct link, confirm that you may download the content, and check the resulting file.
1. Copy the individual Pin link
Open the video or image Pin itself. Use its share control to copy the link, or copy the address from your browser. A full link has /pin/ followed by an identifier; a shortened link may begin with https://pin.it/. A profile, board, search page or screenshot is not a Pin URL.
Paste only the URL into FetchClip. Extra words copied from a message can make a valid link fail validation. Both videos and images use the same form.
2. Find the available media
Choose Find video or image. FetchClip checks the public source information. A supported result identifies the file as video or image and shows its title. This step does not grant download access. If the source does not expose a supported file, the page explains the failure instead of offering a false download button.
3. Answer the rights question
You are asked whether you own the content or have permission to download it. Choose Yes only when that statement is true. The server records confirmation for this temporary session, and the download action appears. Choose No to cancel: the session is invalidated and its file cannot be downloaded through that link.
The site relies on your declaration and does not independently establish ownership. A checkbox or button cannot create rights you do not have. Material inside a video, such as music or photographs, may involve separate rights. Permission to keep a copy is not automatically permission to republish it or use it commercially.
4. Download and check the file
Choose the download button and wait for the transfer to finish. The file is saved through your browser. Find it in the browser's download list or your chosen download location. For a video, play the beginning and end to check that the expected clip arrived. For an image, verify that you downloaded the intended Pin rather than a different preview.
Keep the browser page open until the transfer completes. A source timeout, interrupted connection or unavailable file can stop a transfer. If the session expires, start again from the download form; do not share session URLs as permanent links.
File type and quality
Supported video transfers use MP4. Images keep their available JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF format. FetchClip does not convert a file merely by changing its extension, enhance a low-resolution source or remove watermarks. An image Pin cannot become a video unless a video source exists.
The maximum transfer is 100 MiB. A Pin may be publicly viewable but still have no supported downloadable MP4. Private boards, removed Pins and access restrictions are not bypassed.
Official options and platform rules
Pinterest provides native saving and download options for eligible content. Its image download help explains the available image workflow. Its creator guidance describes video download controls. If downloading is not permitted, save a board reference or request a copy from the creator.
Pinterest's Terms of Service also govern use of its platform. Your confirmation on FetchClip does not override those terms. This page is practical information, not individual legal advice.
