Help
Download questions, answered.
Can I download both videos and images?
Yes, when the public Pin exposes a supported file. MP4 videos and JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF images are supported. The site detects the media type from the source.
What if I choose No to the rights question?
The download is blocked and that session is invalidated. If you later obtain permission, fetch the Pin again and answer the question truthfully. A previously cancelled link is not re-enabled.
Does FetchClip verify that I am the owner?
No. It records your declaration that you own the content or have permission. It does not independently verify ownership or grant you a license. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the answer and your intended use.
Why does “Use an individual Pin link” appear?
The URL may point to a profile, board or search page. Open the actual Pin and copy its share link. Remove any extra words around the URL. Links must use HTTPS.
Why is a public video unavailable?
The source may expose only a stream, remove the file, restrict access or change its format. Public visibility does not guarantee a supported MP4. FetchClip does not bypass private or restricted access.
Why is an expired or copied download link blocked?
Links expire after 20 minutes and are bound to the browser session that confirmed the rights. Open the homepage, fetch the Pin again and confirm again. Opening an old link in a different browser will not transfer the consent.
Can I get higher resolution or remove a watermark?
No. The downloader transfers an available source file. It does not enhance resolution, convert formats or remove attribution and watermarks.
The file did not appear in my gallery. What should I check?
Look in the browser's Downloads list and your device's file manager. Gallery indexing differs by device. Also check storage and download permissions. A successful save does not always open the file automatically.
What are the limits?
A transfer can be up to 100 MiB. Each network address is limited to 30 fetch requests per 15 minutes. Up to five recent Pin sessions are retained per browser, with a limited number of transfer retries per session. These limits protect availability and do not indicate rights to the content.
Why does a file transfer stop?
The source can time out, remove the media or stop responding. Your connection or available storage can also affect saving. Wait for the status message, then retry an available link or fetch the Pin again.
Does the service store videos permanently?
No media library is maintained. The server temporarily buffers a file during transfer and closes that temporary file when the request ends. Session metadata, hosting logs and backups are separate; see the privacy policy.
Do I need an account or Pinterest password?
No. FetchClip does not ask for a Pinterest login or credentials. Never send a password to support.
